Inspire® is an FDA approved treatment for obstructive sleep apnea when CPAP is not an option.

This treatment works from inside the body to stimulate upper airway muscles during breathing.

A sensor is placed under the skin in an outpatient procedure and patients usually return home the same day.

An appointment is scheduled with a sleep specialist approximately 30 days from the time of surgery to calibrate the device during an overnight sleep study.

During sleep, Inspire® sends signals to upper airway muscles with each breath to prevent obstruction and reduce sleep apnea.
